T-Uranus is conjoined to the Democratic Party's natal Pluto (23 Aquarius) and (possibly) conjunct its Moon (25 Aquarius at 12 Noon). It's progressed Uranus is 23 Leo retrograde. This forms a "blow it all apart" T-Square where the fixed Taurus Sun and Mercury on "lose your mind" Caput Algol serves to shatter the structure/organization of the Democratic party.
The Democrats' Pluto and Moon conjoin the USA's Moon, progressed Sun and Solar Arc Mercury (27, 28, 29 Aquarius, respectively). The Democrats' Sun squares the aformentioned point (and is conjunct Israel's Sun. The stressors in Israel's chart have high impact upon the Democratic Party Chart. The party has a large number of jewish voters).
The Democrats' progressed Sun is at 18 Sagittarius. Pluto, which is associated with rejection, ejection, destruction and subsequent rehabilitation/rebirth, is on approach to conjoin the progressed Sun. 2003 promises to be a watershed year of redefinition for party. The next year is the planning year for the presidential election of 2004, so if the Democrats learn from their mistakes, there is a good chance that they could beat Bush in 2004.
Transiting Pluto is square the Democrats' Mars at 17 Virgo -- there is rage but no place to put it. Carping, whining and badgering will not work. Further, the Dems' progressed Lunar Nodes at 19 Virgo and 19 Pisces are taking the square T-Pluto, and Pluto will soon move to the degree of the progressed nodes. 19 degrees Sagittarius is Bush's Inauguration Moon. Pluto and the Bush Regime will be squaring off with the Democrats for a long-term, pitched battle for control.
Iraq figures prominently here as its Moon at 19 Gemini, opposes Bush's Inauguration Moon, will be opposed by T-Pluto, and is in square to the Dems' progressed Lunar Nodes.
The Democrats' solar arc directed lunar nodes are at 27 Libra/27 Aries. The August 2002's full Libra/Aries Moon in the same degree presaged Paul Wellstone's death. That Full Moon squared Wellstone's lunar nodes and turned out to be tragic for the Democrats chances to win that state's Senate seat.
The Democrats' solar arc Saturn at 21 Scorpio was, and still is, charged up by several planets' move through Scorpio, including Monday, November 4th's New Moon position in the sign. Saturn is quincunx the USA's natal Mars and quincunx Bush's natal and progressed Uranus (Gemini). This shows how out far out of alignment the Democrats with respect to their core principles. Democrats have consistently gone against their own grain by rolling over for a Republican administration that feels like it is being driven by a panzer division.
All this is very, very fated stuff. It calls for a critical, unsparing self-survey to be conducted by Democratic Party elites and also by voters who claim loyalty to the party.
