If you want to know why the Democrats, particularly Tom Daschle, are having so much trouble with Bush and the Right Wing GOP, then you have to take into account that Senate Majority Leader Daschle has no less than 17 hits to his natal lunar nodes. Transits to the lunar nodes are not auspicious and are reflective of "fated" events; events outside of one's control that call for retreat so that a future-oriented strategy can work to redeem that which gets damaged.

Senate Majority leader Daschle and the Democrats are unlikely to frustrate the Bush agenda over the next two years. That is not to say that Bush, et al. won't hang themselves as a result of hubris. When Saturn enters the sign Cancer on June 4, 2003, that may well foreshadow a litigious end of the Bush regime. Impeachment is not an unthinkable scenario. However, this may occur during a Bush second term in office as it did for Richard M. Nixon. [see Starcats' "the Nixon Presidency."]
