This seems to be the case, because even Michael Isikoff, who routinely trashed Clinton in the press, has a couple of good things to say about Monica's special. That's in spite of his "one can't help but wonder that a part of Lewinksy -- who was paid for her participation by HBO -- always craved the spotlight after all." Well, Michael, Monica is a Leo. And her natal Sun (0 degrees of the sign) conjoins Bill Clinton's arabic part of catastrophe. That's just the way it is. Monica's Venus is conjoined to Bill's Leo Sun (26 degrees) and squares his 8th house Taurus Moon. Remember Saturn's transit through Taurus? It set off a square from Bill's Moon to the two's Venus/Sun conjunction. Bill's Moon, ruler of his 10th house of status and reputation, would naturally spell downfall once Saturn joined the mix. But he was acquitted: Jupiter in Libra conjoined to the fixed star, Spica. It doesn't get much luckier than that. Monica's progressed Leo Sun conjoins the royal star Regulus and is in square to her progressed Moon at 28 Taurus. Her progressed Moon hits Alcyone, the fixed star of great grief on March 29, 2002. Both Monica's progressed Sun and Moon are still in orb of square to Bill's natal Sun. Does this mean that Monica's HBO special opens this can of worms all over again? Monica's progressed Ascendant, 13 Sagittarius, has just passed the conjunction with the USA's Ascendant. Plutonic (irrevocable) change is still part and parcel of the Clinton-Lewinsky saga, and Monica's progressed Ascendant places her squarely in the framework of what the people think and believe about themselves and the nation. Mars, newly in Taurus, will soon conjoin her progressed Mars (3 Taurus), reach the degree of her Lunar Nodes (7 Capricorn/7 Cancer), and conjoin Monica's natal Moon (9 Taurus). I can't help but think that Monica's HBO special means blowback bit time. (No pun intended). After all, she has natal Uranus opposing her natal Mars and Chiron across the first/seventh house axis in t-square to natal Mercury in the 10th house of public reputation. This is a lady who carries an incendiary archetype when it comes to men. One that wounds both (Chiron in Aries in the 7th). Transiting Uranus will soon oppose Monica's progressed Sun, which, by the way, is now conjoined to her natal Venus on regulus. It is Monica's 11th house of politics (as well as personal hopes and wishes) that plants her squarely in the limelight. The Clinton-Lewinsky scandal was all about politics. The politics of cannibalism; of marriage; of prevarication; and spin (Neptune). It is also a love story. One of belief (Neptune) and betrayal (Pluto). With Monica's tertiary progressed Venus (24 Cancer) conjoined to her natal Mercury in the 10th house, we may hear more than we wanted to know. That's showbiz. March 3, 2002, Starcats. |
