CommentaryKen Lay's progressed Sun is 23 Gemini conjoined to his natal Mars in the 9th house of legal matters. Transiting Saturn will hit Lay's progressed Sun and natal Mars on July 15, 2002. There is a mutual reception between his natal Mars and natal Mercury (20 Aries). Since Lay has three planets in his 7th house of "enemies," the mutual reception between his Mars and Mercury guarantees nasty verbal battles. We'll leave that up to his attorneys. When you find mutual receptions in a chart by sign, its a clue to work with the two planets by reversing their positions in the chart. In other words, read the chart as if Mercury were at 23 Gemini, and Mars at 20 Aries. What we have is fast-talking lawyers and lots of fired-up 7th house enemies. Turn down the volume unless you have plans to shoot your T.V. On June 6, 2002, T-Saturn will hit Lay's 9th house Jupiter in Jupiter in the sign is in its fall, signifying that the planet's strength is debilitated (it has trouble "helping"), particularly when under Saturn's "karmic" crush. As you know, Saturn and Mars together is the classic "stalemate," or "driving with the brakes on." Getting information out of Lay will be fraught with prevarications; rages; finger pointing; and scapegoating (Saturn). Lay's natal 12th house Neptune (inspired belief in one's "divine" infallibility) conjoins the USA's second house Pluto: big money; the "Plutocracy;" the peoples' wealth; and authoritarian oversight such as those powers commanded by agencies such as the SEC and the accountancy firm, Arthur Anderson. Pluto with Lay's Neptune equates to "corporate organized crime." Lay's 12th house Neptune may be his personal undoing, but his Enron suicide mission also took down ordinary investors who maintained "blind faith" (Neptune) in Enron's viability. Lay's North Node at 12 Virgo was squared by transiting Pluto about two years ago, which leads me to believe he knew the score long before Enron filed its Bankruptcy Petition on December 2, 2001. Pluto's transit through his third house (disposited by his Jupiter in Gemini) looks like lots of bullshit emails to Enron employees discussing how "robust" the firm's profits were. However, it is clear that Enron employed a Ponzi or Pyramid Scheme by borrowing heavily and declaring loan dollars as profit. Two sets of books (Gemini) and paper shredders aren't enough to hide the crimes. Lay's tertiary progressed Lunar Nodes are 27 Cancer (North) and 27 Capricorn (South). His South Node of endings conjoins the USA's Capricorn Pluto. His North Node conjoins Bush's 12th house Saturn. When Saturn hits 13 Cancer in 2003, it will conjoin Bush's Sun, the USA's Sun and square the USA's Exalted Saturn in Libra. This is the aspect under which Nixon resigned the presidency. We approach the Saturn Return of that event. Cheney's sequestering of documents in relation to his private energy task force meetings may bring more shocking information to light. The USA's Progressed Sun is conjoined to its natal Moon (27 Aquarius). Uranus transits to a conjunction to this New Moon Moment later in 2002. Monday, February 11th's New Moon at 23 Aquarius ushers in a new Enron/House Investigation Committee cycle. The Full Moon of February 27 at 8 Virgo quincunxes transiting Neptune of smoke and spin. Both Mercury and Saturn reach Stationary Direct Motion on February 7 and 8. On April 12th, Saturn in Gemini will square Lay's natal Lunar Nodes bringing "fated downfall" into news headlines.
