Homicide Bombing In Israel
RISHON LETZION, Israel (CNN) -- An apparent suicide bombing at a billiard hall Tuesday night killed 16 people and wounded dozens more in a coastal town south of Tel Aviv, Israeli police said. The bombing took place as Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon met in Washington with President Bush. Sharon was told of the blast while he was at the White House: He cut short his visit to the United States and planned to return to Israel Tuesday evening. The bombing occurred at around 11:10 p.m. (4:10 p.m. EDT). The billiard hall was part of an entertainment complex popular with young people in an industrial area of Rishon Letzion. Matthew Guttman, a Jerusalem Post reporter at the scene, told CNN the situation was "chaotic."
Commentary
Just days after Arafat was released from his compound in Ramallah flashing the "V" of "Victory" with his fingers, Palestinian terrorists hit Israel with one of the worst suicide bombings seen since the Passover murders of April 12, 2002. The PLO quickly released a statement condemning the attack at the same time Saudi Arabia denied having any financial connections with Hamas, Al Aqsa, and other guerilla organizations.
The bi-wheel chart above clearly shows that today's suicide bombing could have easily been foretold. First, T-Uranus in the 4th house of the chart opposes Israel's N-Mars at 28 Leo. Mars-Uranus aspects are, perhaps, the most explosive of the aspects and can easily be used to presage disruptive, volatile events. Second, T-Mars is just shy of its perfect opposition with destructive/eradicating Pluto. The opposition "perfects" on March 8, 2002 at 6:09 pm, Washington, DC. The aforementioned oppositions (Mars, Pluto, Uranus) is a "tug of war" between two sides of any issue where incendiary, hair-trigger actions and reactions redouble upon themselves with little hope of resolution. Unfortunately, as indicated in the chart above, T-Sun at 17 Taurus will soon conjoin Israel's Sun and subsequently square her birth Mars and Uranus (called a "T"-square) which will ignite the same scenario all over again. T- Sun, currently in square to Israel's Saturn (exhaustion, "blowback" and relentlessness) and in quincunx (150 degree aspect) to Pluto of "eradication," point out the frustration, fear, and hopelessness that ruins (Saturn) the hopes of both Israelis and Palestinians.
As mentioned in numerous of my columns over the last month, May is pivotal in world events training our focus permanently upon the Middle East. The future bodes dark for those who hope for a diplomatic solution to the "problem" of Saddam Hussein and Iraq. Further, any illusions that Saudi Arabia is "our friend" must be dashed. American has absolutely nothing in common with Saudi Arabia and vice versa. What America has is a business deal with the Saudi Royal Regime. Oil in exchange for the USA's military protection. This has been the case since 1945. America, a Cancerian nation, cannot bear to admit to herself that deals with other nations are just that: deals. Instead, America maintains the myth that she is a "friend to all people." A cursory review of the USA's practice of rapacious capitalism worldwide disproves her self-serving myth. Friendship and loyalty, often associated with Cancer's need to "merge" and "caretake," are "shadowed" (the dark side of any issue) by her Cancer Sun in square to Saturn in Libra. There is great insecurity underpinning that square aspect as demonstrated by America's revulsion at the idea she might be disliked, let alone reviled. America's very insecurities draw her into meddlesome behaviors (called foreign policy) that overshoot the mark. Hence, she loses control over her Pluto in Capricorn (autocracy/plutocracy) in opposition to Mercury in Cancer: "This is for your own good. Do it my way, and pay me for it."
The Sun transiting through Taurus at present is squaring Israel's Saturn in Leo. Translation: our enemy (7th house) threatens our possession of the land (Taurus) and our status as the "chosen people" (Saturn in royal Leo). This is a loose assessment of what Sun/Saturn means in relation to Israel and the world stage, but the key words identify clearly what terrifies Israel: eradication as a nation and as a people. With both Pluto and Saturn hovering so close to the Lunar Nodes of late (and the coming Saturn-Pluto opposition and Lunar Eclipse of May 26, 2002), I am hard pressed to find an open door that will carry Israel, the PLO and the United States back to the peace table.
This latest suicide bombing proves how utterly out of control the global community is and how utterly permeable the fragile human condition is. Borders are one thing. Bodies are clearly another. It seems we live in ever increasing ambiguity and contradiction. The exigencies of the moment dictate ever more Machiavellian choices on the part of world governments. My dad says we've got to roll with the punches because they'll keep coming fast and furiously. It's getting to be a bit much when I'm scared to turn on the TV.

Personal Tips
To the extent that you can, lay low. Keep quiet. Observe. Do not sign any contracts or forge any agreements of any kind while Mercury is retrograde. Make sure all your appliances, cars, computers, etc., are in good operating order. If you get them fixed during Mercury retrograde, you'll just have to get them fixed again. Make sure you hear what your partner is saying to you. Misinterpretations are highly likely during Mercury's retrograde in the communication sign of Gemini. This is further exacerbated by Saturn and Pluto's opposition, a harsh combination that can lead to unwarranted arguments. Nervous energy is at its peak this month, so schedule breaks, step up your exercise program and offload energy by checking out new movies.
Pipe Bombs
The transit chart above lets you in on a couple of astro secrets. Look for sensitive degrees. Look for that which repeats. Have a look at the First Impact WTC chart for September 11, 2001. The Ascendant is 14 Libra. Mercury (which rules Gemini) is conjoined to the Ascendant at 14 Libra, the degree of the USA's natal Saturn. Transiting Venus and Saturn are at 14 Gemini, the trine by degree to the WTC's Ascendant/Mercury sensitive degrees. Recall what happened just after September 11th: the U.S. Mails were inundated with Anthrax letters. The "repeat" signature is the ongoing investigation into 17 pipe bombs placed in mailboxes across America's heartland. The number 17 is significant: Pluto is retrograde at 17 degrees of Sagittarius. The South Node at 18 Sagittarius will soon move back to 17 degrees. The pipe bomber may well be apprehended when Mars reaches 18 Gemini and conjoins the Gemini North Node. Either that, or another wave of similar attacks by the same bomber or a copycat bomber, will be unleashed. Attacks that could be more dangerous and virulent.
Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bush, Sharon & Colin Powell
Note that today's transiting Sun at 16 Taurus opposes Bush's inauguration Mars (16 Scorpio) and sets off the T-square in that chart comprised of Saturn, Mars, Mercury and Uranus. The Sun's quincunx to power-plays Pluto indicates great stress with little likelihood of adjustment. Venus, the Sun's ruler and Jupiter, ruler of Pluto, do not aspect in either sextile or trine. Therefore, opportunity (sextile) or easy flow (trine) towards resolution between Bush, Sharon and Arafat are unlikely. The next best date for hopeful progress occurs when Jupiter reaches 13 and 14 degrees of Cancer at the end of May. At this time, Jupiter will conjoin the USA's Sun, Bush's Sun and Israel's progressed Sun. Jupiter's square to its natal Saturn at 14 Libra, however, is likely to force the Bush administration into substantial changes in foreign policy. The rift between the White House, The Pentagon and Colin Powell continues to widen.
Back To The Future
Transiting Uranus at 28 Gemini is now conjoined to September 11th's Natal Moon. As noted in previous columns, T-Uranus, along with the USA's Progressed Sun, are conjoined to her natal Moon at 27 Aquarius. The third house (Gemini's natural house) is where we locate the aforementioned transits to America's natal Moon. Associations with the third house are the obvious ones: communication; media; transport (note the railway accidents over the last month); two airline crashes today. One in China. One in Tunisia. We've got the media pundits ratcheting up the rhetoric on Saddam and Iraq. Ariel Sharon is visiting President Bush in Washington, and has brought a sheaf of evidentiary evidence marking, among other things, disclosures of Saudi Arabia's multi-million dollar contributions to Palestianian terrorist organizations. Gemini: wars and rumors of war. Saturn-Pluto-Mars: harsh, vindictive, bloody, retributive, relentless and vitriolic.
Because Gemini's mutable energy comes on fast (Mars is the trigger), circumstances are likely to change just as rapidly. From day-to-day it will remain unclear as to the direction negotiations will take in the middle east; how secure "Homeland Security" really is; and who will emerge from the middle east conflagration as a "hero." It is more likely that "heroes" will be the result of competitive "spin," as there can be no clear winner emerging from violent scenarios. May through July 2002, ushers in new concerns for "Homeland Security." Our own homegrown nuts will continue to crawl out of the woodwork.
Note: Memorial Day (May 27, 2002) the Sun conjoins retrograde Mercury. Whatever agreements are forged today, and after May 15, are subject to review. The closer we move towards Mercury's retrograde date of May 15, the more risk to all parties involved in the middle east. Agreements will be reneged upon and it is highly possible that a renewed round of violence will erupt in the region. We aren't done with any of this yet. Not by a long shot.

The United States strives to provide freedom for their people. Do we really have personal Freedom? I've lived here for many years, and I see much limitation. Does the definition of freedom include limitation? I've learned about the history of various civilizations in history, and I see more and more limitation. Do you people enjoy this trend of limitation? If not,
change it!
As long as you are uninformed about death you will continue to say "how high", when the government tells you to "jump". As long as the government is uninformed about death they will continue tell you to "jump." Is the government uninformed about death, or are they pretending?
You have been missing how things are, for very long. I'm obtaining your attention in the only way I can. More info is on its way. More "attention getters" are on the way. If I could, I would change only one person, unfortunately the resources are not accessible. It seems killing a single
famous person would get the same media attention as killing numerous un-famous humans. There is less risk of being detained, associated with dismissing certain people.
