Full Moon 28 Capricorn 47; Sun to Leo 7/22; Venus to Virgo; and Mercury stationary retrograde to August 15th.

The two attacks occurred on powerful lunations: the New Moon on July 6-7 and the Full Moon of July 21-22. Look at the bi-wheel to your left and note that Saturn's position for the first attack was 28 Cancer. Today's attack shows Sun conjoined to the 28 degree New Moon point (Moon opposite at 28 Capricorn).
At the time of the bombings, the transiting Moon was less than one degree past it's opposition with the Sun and in an out of sign conjunction with wounding Chiron and opposite Saturn, newly ensconed in royal (the U.K.?!) Leo. Mercury is poised to go retrograde and evidence (Mercury ruled) has been left behind at the crime scenes enabling investigators to trace a path to the culprits.
Note that the Moon (representing the public) was in square aspect to angry Mars (the foe) on July 7th, and is in tighter aspect to T-Mars today. Today's Sun and Moon both form a t-square to Mars as well. The London bombings highlight the importance of monthly lunations and eclipses in connection with world events. The degrees in which lunations and eclipses are sensitized in all 12 signs as planets transit through the houses. The aspects planets continue make to these sensitive degrees often bring new events and information to the public stage.
NASA shoots for Tuesday shuttle launch
CNN -- "KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Florida (CNN) -- NASA officials decided Wednesday to go ahead with the launch of the space shuttle Discovery Tuesday morning, even though they have still not definitively found what caused a fuel sensor malfunction that forced the mission to be scrubbed last week."

Lift off is set for 10:39 AM, EDT, July 26, 2005 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. If all goes as planned, Discovery and her crew will leave the "surly bonds of earth" for another chance at boldy going where no one has gone before.
I'm a lot more comfortable with this launch date (even though it might be postponed due to Mercury retrograde!) because Helio Mars has passed the conjunction with Helio Uranus (potential for explosion). Because Helio Mars is in the sign of Pisces from the Sun's vantage point, Uranus in Aquarius's mutual reception with Uranus showed us that there would be fuel-related problems (Neptune rules fuel) and that Mars-Uranus could mean Discovery would blow like a roman candle.
If Discovery launches next Tuesday, the Helio chart shows benevolent Venus and cosmic-minded Jupiter conjoined. The single chart for July 26th has Venus and Jupiter in the first house. That is indeed a fine portent. Godspeed, Discovery crew!
James Doohan
It's only fitting then, that we pay homage to a good guy: James Doohan, who was and always well be Montgomery "Scotty" Scott on Star Trek TOS ("the original series" for non-trekites). Born March 3, 1920 (no time known) in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Scotty passed away on July 20, 2005 at 5:30 AM, in Redmond, Washington.
Doohan's ashes will be taken into space aboard a space shuttle (I don't know which mission this is set for) and deposited among the stars. The legendary Gene Roddenberry and Timothy Leary are already floating out there and possibly, if there really is magic, they're talking to Einstein and Rod Serling. Help! Bush got Rove Off the Front Page!

Bush announced his Supreme Court pick on July 19, 2005 at 9:00 pm EDT (Washington, DC). The Ascendant for the "pick" chart is 8 Aquarius, which means that Neptune was rising in the first house the minute Bush opened his face. Uh, just what is it that lurks behind the smoke screen and spin about Roberts? It's only been two days and he's already being called Bush's "stealth" candidate.
Have you heard the repeated rhetoric out of the White House that goes like "We want a fair judge who will not legislate from the bench but will interpret the law and the constitution the way it was meant to be." Well, what that means is Bush wants a strict constructionist. A "real" conservative (is that like a "real" alcoholic? AA friends will get my drift on that one). What "real" conservatives think is that there is no implicit or explicit hint in the Constitution that says citizens have a right to privacy. Hence, Roe v. Wade, the case that set precedent for a woman's right to privately choose the course of her reproductive life, is rendered moot because there is no such thing as privacy anyway. Yes, I got a headache thinking about it too.
Okay, here we go again: women are supposed to do what: be subject to the laws of white men in suits who act upon them as if the female of the species were nothing more than a vessel ... don't get me started....
Question: IF the constitution neither implictly or explicitly grants privacy rights to citizens, does that mean we can get those energy policy meeting notes out of Dick Cheney? Does that mean Bush has to unlock those "private" executive papers of Ronald Reagan, Daddy Bush and himself? Can we get all the CIA documents telling the real truth about WMD in Iraq....?
